How to paint your nails
Years back, when I first bought my first bottle of lacquer, I didn’t exactly know how to paint your nails in order to achieve long-lasting effect. I also didn’t know what to do to make the shade durable and chip-preventing. Then I remembered that my mother, who had hundreds of bottles of many lacquer shades, had several painting tips and she used to simply over-paint the entire surface of her toe and fingernails in order to make them strong, shiny looking and what is more, the coat she applied a week before, lasted for a couple of more days and she never used to wonder herself how to paint your nails to look beautiful and healthy. But this was only possible, when she used the same shade of her favorite brand. If she wanted to use some other shade or even the same shade of some completely other brand, the effect was not the same.

Therefore even nowadays women have been searching for painting tips and wondering how to paint your nails, specially when making artistic designs, to maintain the shades and the designs untouched and unchanged. Well, I will trust you a small, but very helpful secret, which will help you to achieve healthier look of your fingernails and the skin around them. This secret was told to me by my grandmother, who never used any fingernail lacquers, but always had strong and shiny fingernails. She didn’t use no acetone, no clear top or base coats and no other non-organic products. She simply used a tiny piece of bacon, applied it on her toes and fingers and rubbed it against them.

That was her secret to knowing how to paint your nails and maintain healthy and beautiful look. She then used a piece of fabric and carefully wiped off the remaining of the bacon. This piece of bacon oiled her toe and fingernails and supplemented them with natural oils, which gave that oily, but still very natural look to her fingers. What is more, it also accented the natural color of the toes and nails, which looked as if a very thin layer of very subtle rose shade was applied over them.
So, if you would like to know how to paint your nails so that the shades will last longer, listen to these simple painting tips; simply paint them evenly with a very thin layer of any chosen shade in trendy colors, such as plum, violet, blue, red and orange are, then let them dry and apply a thin layer of some good quality clear top coat. If you do not have it, simply use a piece of bacon and repeat the process, which was described a couple of lines above. This will make the color of your fingernails stood out and make it livelier.
